Blue Morphos are one of the most popular butterflies
and having three of them going all at once will
make a very bright and colorful display! A lot
of effort has gone into capturing the nearly perfect
wing colors and iridescent sheen of the Blue Morphos.
The blue butterfly (Morpho menelaus) lives in
the rainforests of Central and South America and
they stand out incredibly as soon as they open
their brilliant blue wings and fly. When the butterflies
are resting the undersides of their wings function
as camouflage by matching the colorations of brown
to bronze leaves.
