Dragonfly
Wings for 6 Diff. Dragonflies |
 |
|
| Dragonflies have
two pairs of almost equally sized long thin
membranous wings; both pairs of wings usually
have a stigma (a dark or colored patch near
the middle of the leading edge) and a mass
of cross veins that gives the appearance of
being a mesh. Dragonflies can flap, or beat,
their wings independently, making them excellent
fliers and they can loop-the-loop, hover and
even fly backwards with easily. Electric dragonflies
don't fly anywhere, but they do flutter their
wings constantly for years on end! A good
way to add variety to your dragonfly collection
would be to pick a wings that have different
colors and patterns that you don't already
possess. Easily switch out dragonfly wings
to create whatever combination of wings you
like best, at that time. This a is a less
expensive way to spice up your dragonfly collection
throughout the year without having to buy
additional kits. |
