Stick insects are known to be the longest insects
in the world and are also one of the most interesting
to watch! They move around like little animated
aliens in miniature. Real stick insects make great
pets for people of all ages, but unfortunately,
their life span is fairly short only lasting
about 1 year. However, in many of the larger and
slower-growing species the life span of a stick
insects may increase to more than two years after
they hatch.
