Grasshoppers like the Dragon Leaf Hopper live
in grass and other long-growing plants, which is
convenient, considering that they are vegetarians.
A grasshopper's sex can be determined by the
shape of the hind end, which is always turned upward
in the male, as a rule of thumb. Grasshoppers
fully mature about three months after they are
born.
