| The eyes of dragonflies
are so large they often touch each other. Each
eye may contain as many as 30,000 individual
lenses or ommatidia (your have only one
lens per eye). Dragonflies
have exceptionally good eyesight because of
this and they have been known to respond to
visual stimuli that was more than 40 feet away.
Perhaps if you place our electrical dragonflies
near your window they will attract
real dragonflies, as long as they are within
forty feet of each other. Our
vibrantly colored dragonflies look beautiful
fridges or anything metal that would allow
a magnet to stick. The delicate appearance
of their wings and hand painted bodies will
fool people into thinking, at least for a second,
that they are real! |
