| Some moths are so large and colorful
that they can easily be mistaken for butterflies.
Moth wing patterns help to camouflage them within
their natural environment. Transparent circular
sections are found on some moth wings that
closely resemble eyes, in order to scare off
would be attackers. Many moths have beautiful long
tails on the trailing ends of their
wings that make them extraordinarily elegant to
