Selene is a member of the moon moth family.
It is native to India and hence it is commonly
referred to as the Indian Moon Moth. The lighter
color patterns on the wings are very elegant and
surprisingly it is much harder to find pure white
wings like these amongst the other moths. Also
note the long white tails extending from the trailing
edges of its wings.
